Rødbyhavn Church is a modern red stone church, consecrated in 1966. Only in 1972 did the municipality become an independent municipality. Until then, the parish of Rødbyhavn was looked after by a chaplain under the vicar in Rødby.

The crucifix above the altar is by the sculptor Erik Bischoff, Nysted. It is the visitor's still inexhaustible topic of discussion, unconventional and powerful as the only true art object in the space.

The pulpit and oak altar were donated by the Kaj Monk Memorial Fund.

The granite baptismal font was donated by the Maribo Cathedral.

An unusual seven-armed tin chandelier stands on the altar. It symbolizes the church's bond with the sea. The ship is a model of the schooner "Syltholm" which was built in Thurø in 1905.

The organ was installed in 1976. Before that time there was a small harmonium that accompanied the hymn song. The organ was built by Bruno Christensen and Sons in Terkelsbøl in southern Jutland. It has 12 voices, 2 manuals and a pedal.

At major church events, e.g. At Christmas and Confirmation, the parish hall can be included in the church room by opening folding doors. A painting by Allan Skuldbøl hangs in the sickroom. It represents the 10 bridesmaids. It was bought in 2000.

The church can usually be visited from Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. when the parish worker is not on duty.
