The entrance to the Ciemna (Dark) Cave is 80 metres high above the Pradnik Valley and opposite the Kraków Gate. The cave is 230 metres long and has been open to tourists for several years.

The dark cave deserves its name: there is no electrical installation and no electric light. Visitors are given candles. This is a bit adventurous, but at the end of the tour there is this magical moment when all visitors put out the candles and you suddenly realize that you can see the outlines of this large cave very well even without artificial light.
