Cycling

Here the Schwalm forms a small lake on the site of the old Vennmühle. The Vennmühle burned down several times in its history and so the site was used in different ways. First the oil mill was located here (with peat extraction), then as a paper mill, which burned down again and the buildings were no longer used as a mill. A material store was later set up here and the main building is now used as a kindergarten.
