Olsberg Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery in the municipality of Olsberg, in the Swiss canton of Aargau. The monastery called Hortus Dei (“Garden of God”) was founded in 1236 and abolished in 1803. In addition to the collegiate church, it includes the convent building, the monastery barn, the rectory and other ancillary buildings. Today the convent building serves as a school for children with learning difficulties. The monastery complex is classified as a cultural asset of national importance.
