A highlight in the Allgäu is definitely the high Ifen. A cable car goes to about 2000 meters. The summit can be reached in about 1-2 hours. Super view from above. The ascent and descent from the large parking lot is one of my top 10 most beautiful trails in the Alps, even if the summit with only about 2300 meters and the slope are "not very demanding".

Super panorama on the adjoining Gottesacker plateau. The cable car goes to about 2000 meters. Walking time to the summit about 1-2 hours through a boulder field and over meadows. Highly recommended is the ascent of the cable car and the inn. Walking time about 4-5 hours. Very nice tour.
