Föhren Castle dates back to the 14th century and was last rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1663. The castle complex includes the tithe barn that has been converted and restored into an event space, the actual main building, in whose large hall the registry office is located, and the outbuilding that has been converted into a holiday apartment. Meulenwald venison is sold in the farm shop.
