If for the first 3 km the climb does not present any major difficulties, in the final 4 km the story changes: a succession of steep sections up to 14%, culminating with the fateful "ratù": 300 meters never below 10%.
Once you reach the top, the view is spectacular.

Featured in many Giro stages (2004 stage finish, 2008, 2019) is a classic climb for local cyclists.
Southern side is the easiest climbing for 640 meters in 12km starting in Rovetta, northern is way steeper racking 530 mts in 8 km with some 14 % stretches.
