Mandichosee

Lech dam 23 has been called Lake Mandichose since 2003 and is the largest body of water in the Aichach-Friedberg district.

Lake Mandichose is a diverse local recreation area with bathing stands, sunbathing areas, a playground, beach volleyball court, kiosk with toilet facilities and a water rescue station. A surfing school, sailing association, stand-up paddling courses and rentals offer, in addition to hiking and cycling opportunities, a wide variety of active activities. The lake is also used to generate hydroelectric power.

Busy in good weather, then sometimes park the cars down on the bike path. However, one must also concede, always worth a small circumnavigation ;-)
