Whether the Pioneer Sperrmunitionshäuser on Klingberg were ever filled, can not say today. However, they were never regularly guarded. The reason for this is probably the mechanical security: Three doors had to be overcome - the first four centimeters strong, the second 15 centimeters, the third 30 centimeters. The two inner doors could only be opened with the help of a special key. Today, the ammunition houses are used by the Nabu group Bad Oldesloe as winter quarters for bats. In the district of Segeberg there were at least 30 of these devices, nationwide about 6000. Almost all have now disappeared in the course of normal road construction. The exact number can not be determined now, but about ten years ago, it was assumed that about 1650 of them exist, but each year about 200 disappear.
