The Theodosian wall is a built at the beginning of the 5th century under Emperor Theodosius II and the prefect Anthemius, about 19-20 kilometers long fortification to protect Constantinople, now Istanbul. Wikipedia

Size: Length: 20 km, width about 70 m

Built by: Septimius Severus, Constantine the Great, Constantius II, Theodosius II, Heraclius, more

The old city wall is a highlight of Istanbul. Considering that it was built over 1000 years ago and has warded off many attacks on the city, one can only pay great tribute to the builders.
