But you should definitely reserve in advance - because of its attractions such as the boulder wall, a fountain and a large lawn and play area, it is very popular. The HELFENBERGER HÜTTE in the picturesque Bohemian Forest at 840 m invites nature lovers and active recreational athletes. It is located directly on the Nordwaldkammweg and is therefore the ideal starting point for various cycling and hiking tours in summer. Due to the traffic-free location, it is also ideal for families. In winter there is a cross-country ski run right by the hut and there are countless opportunities for snowshoe tours.
