Fantastic view over the Siegerland. It is a must when you are in the area. In addition to the very beautiful section of the Rothaarsteig, which leads over the ridge, there is also a nice but steep root trail down into the valley (Zubringer Rothaarsteig, yellow marker).

For me, the most beautiful panoramic view in the Siegerland and one of the most magnificent views on the Rothaarsteig! Highly frequented on weekends and public holidays - but always a worthwhile destination. Best to go early in the morning or on beautiful summer evenings and just enjoy.

    Hiking

The “Nose in the Wind” is a viewing platform on the Tiefenrother Höhe (552 meters) that offers hikers on the Rothaarsteig a wonderful view in a northwesterly direction of the Siegerland. Ideal location to pause for a few minutes, unwind - or nibble on provisions. The Rudersdorfer Tunnel, built in 1915, runs underground here, a railway tunnel on the Dill line with a length of more than two and a half kilometers. The border between Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia runs through the tunnel; the Hessian part of the structure is designated as a cultural monument.
