The Kluisberg is a hill in the Flemish Ardennes, on the border of Flanders and Wallonia, with a height of 141 meters. The hill is a popular destination for cycling, tourism and recreation, and has a built-in tower. Two thirds of the area lies in Kluisbergen. The Kluisbos is located on top of the Kluisberg! This 141 meter high mountain is one of the showpieces of the Flemish Ardennes. The valuable nature, beautiful views, sights and recreation for the little nature lovers, make this an ideal destination for young and old.

The Kluisberg rises on the Flemish-Walloon border as part of a ridge that extends to the Oudenberg in Geraardsbergen and is home to numerous hellingen such as the Knokteberg, the Kanarieberg, the Karnemelkbeekstraat or the Kruisberg. It is covered by a large forest area, the Kluisbos, which is also a local recreation area. Next to a café there is a historic lookout tower on the summit, but it is closed. It served as a shelter for Protestants in the 16th century during the confessional wars.
