The Piccolo Stelvio is a short climb that visually recalls the much more prestigious and majestic hairpin bends of the well-known Coppi peak par excellence. It starts from Castiglione Olona (VA), along the SP42. At the first houses of the characteristic village, on the right you can see the sign describing the climb. It is a total of 5 hairpin bends, which rise rapidly and decisively above the town. Walking along it, you will have for a brief moment the feeling of being on the asphalt of the "big brother".

Fun little climb with some interesting switchbacks. The official “finish” is beyond a junction so be careful if going all-out

I live nearby and this climb is my training ground in the winter and for short rides. A climb that is part of the Bernocchi Cup circuit, not very long but quite tough especially in the second section. Recommended.
