Unfortunately, the Wied cycle path does not only lead over cycle paths or the disused railway line, but also a longer section over the roadway of a busy country road. Pity!

Not only the Wiedtal itself is worth a tour. From there you can turn off at several points up to the Westerwaldhöhen and from there you can ski down charming routes with a great view back into the Wiedtal. It's a bit more strenuous, but it's easy to do, especially for e-bikers, and it's almost a must.
