The rock of Hourtous is a small summit on the side of a cliff which culminates at 893 meters. The view of the deep gorges of the Tarn is sublime: it overlooks vertiginous cliffs 500 meters high.

Hiking

The Roc des Hourtous dominates the Tarn by 500m and offers an exceptional view of the gorges, with the Point Sublime and the Cirque des Baumes to the west. The site is also the ideal place to observe the vultures that have taken up residence on these cliffs.
