The Roman thermal baths in Weissenburg are among the best preserved and most important thermal baths in southern Germany. In 1977 they were discovered during construction work on the southwestern outskirts of the city and in the 1980s they were elaborately preserved and partially reconstructed by the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments. Today the remains of the building are located under an imposing tent roof construction and can be admired via walk-on walkways. museen-weissenburg.de/de/unsere-museen/roemische-thermen
