- Easily accessible from the parking lot at the GSV Höpfigheim
- Wetland and spawning and habitat for amphibians
- I think it's great that there's an information board (unfortunately, these are mostly missing from "natural monument" signs) that provides information about this biotope
- Located in the middle of the forest
