From up here you have a comprehensive overview of the Wasgau with its gently rolling hills and dreamy clearings. The castle was destroyed in the Peasants' War in the 16th century and was never rebuilt. Admission is free.
Under the castle, the Cramerhaus tempts you with Palatinate specialties and selected Palatinate wines. For the little ones there is a playground and a small animal enclosure with goats, geese and sheep.July 1, 2016
For me one of the most beautiful castles in the Palatinate Forest. Built as Reichsburg within sight of the castle Trifels, even today impress the remains of the mighty walls.

Beautiful medieval castle ruins with a good view. Parts of the walls can also be climbed. A hiking car park is located directly below the castle.

Lindelbrunn Castle (also called Lindelbol, Lindelbronn or Lindelborn) is a medieval ruin of a rock castle near Vorderweidenthal in the Rhineland-Palatinate district of the Southern Wine Route.
It is believed that the name of the castle can be traced back to the castle fountain, where a large flowering linden tree stood.
