Former clay pit E from Reichenschwand is located behind the district building yard. The fact that there was a clay pit here is testified by the street name "Ziegeleistrasse" and the former brickworks at Reichenschwand Gußner. Access is private and entry is prohibited. Clay iron tubers are particularly abundant up to a size of a few decimeters. It is classified as important and valuable in geoscientific terms. In the clay pit Reichenschwand is about 8 meters thick layer of Amaltheenton. The layer is rich in clays and leads fossils. The clay pit once served as a source of raw materials for the abandoned brick factory in the immediate vicinity.
