The most fascinating thing about the route is the thought, which always accompanies me when I walk it, of what it might once have been like to be exactly on that road aboard a rattling train. The Sombreno - Zogno cycle path is a very pleasant and not excessively long route, which can be tackled in all seasons. In summer the transits in the tunnels offer the right refreshment while in winter the breaks in the cafés and pastry shops (Paladina, Zogno, San Pellegrino, San Giovanni Bianco, Piazza Brembana) guarantee an adequate energy recharge.

Just over 30 km of cycle path in a fresh, mountainous environment with gentle slopes and suggestive landscape views. If you want you can start pedaling even before Almè, to be precise from Conca Fiorita, slightly north of Bergamo following the "Quisa cycle path"
