The so-called Three Rivers Corner is the peninsula between the Danube and the Inn, on which the historic core of Passau is located. It is the only place in the world where three rivers from three directions come together and continue together into the fourth: from the north the Ilz, from the west the Danube and from the south the Inn, as Danube stream they move on to the east.
