Tips
The first third of this walk is steep and very technical, very rocky. follow the red painted splashes to the monastery. Then long downhill on rough track.

The climb to the monastery is very well marked, superb view once at the top. Toilets and water are available at the monastery, however on the path that goes back down, 800m after the monastery, stray and unfriendly dogs blocked the road with their barking. We turned around instead of doing the loop.
