Hiking

There are as many hiking opportunities along the gorge as your heart desires. Some of the routes lead to monasteries or monastery ruins all around. For example, you can reach the ruins of the Matka Monastery (on the river side of the restaurant) in an hour and a half.

If you want to visit a monastery without taking on the burden of a strenuous march, the St. Andreas (right in front of the restaurant) is open to you.
