The old port of Grado, with its characteristic and typical Y-shape, first desired by the Venetians and later by Austria-Hungary, is the urban living room by the sea, with bars, restaurants and shops.

The harbor never sleeps in the typical atmosphere of the city by the sea. In the early morning hours, it is the place where fishing boats arrive with their fresh catch, which can be bought at the fish market run by the Cooperative of Fishermen and located at the beginning of the canal of the port. During the day, the quays are populated by people who work, walk or go shopping.

If you go down the moles attentively, you can see the symbols that fishermen have used since antiquity to mark their nets so as not to confuse them with those of other families. In the evening, sitting at the table of one of the many small restaurants, you can admire a breathtaking panorama and enjoy one of the many Grades delicacies. And after dinner, the harbor, the nearby old town and the promenade are perfect for an evening stroll.
