This is a place that's difficult to reach by bike. You should be fair and walk the last few meters. The few steps up to the tower are worth it if you want to enjoy a beautiful view of the valley. A bench up there invites you to linger. However, the place isn't really geared towards tourism. There's usually a fence around it, but today it was somehow lying on the ground. :-) So it wasn't an obstacle.
