Spanning the River Barle at the entrance to Dulverton village, Barle Bridge is a stone arch bridge. The historic bridge was built in the Middle Ages and underwent restorations in the 17th century, 19th and 20th century.

On the other side of the bridge, you will find the Bridge Inn, a wonderful pub for a rest stop.

I have stopped here for a picnic in the past. I think the pub also let you take glasses down to the river. It can be a nice place to stop. I've also had a nice mince pie under the shelter of the trees in the rain!
