Hiking

In the late 1800s, this port was a thriving economic port. It transported limestone and coal for the lime kilns. However, technological advances in ships and their exponential growth in size have gotten the better of the port. The harbor was so shallow that it soon became impossible for larger and larger ships to enter the harbour. It is therefore today a marina.
