The Hoogewegse Molen is a hollow post mill from 1652 between the Dutch cities of Noordwijk and Voorhout. The mill served as a polder mill. In the years 1711 and 1938 major renovation work was necessary after storm damage. The mill can still be ground, but is only used occasionally. It has a span of 17.30/17.40 meters. Since the mill is located in an open area, it has great scenic value. In 1959 a diesel pumping station was built next to the mill. In 1961 the mill was bought by the Rijnlandse Molenstichting. The mill has had national monument status since 1967. In 1969 the mill was restored to its original state by removing the long rung.
