In 1845, the castle received its first appearance today.
The Heinrichsburg is a manor house on the forecourt from the 16th century.
The first known lord of Püchau was 995 Count Esiko. His successor was 1004 Burkhard Count Palatine of Saxony. Püchau was like the neighboring Wurzen Burgward.

In the courtyard pretty Nobele dining. You can, but you do not have to. -
The castle Püchau rises on the eastern edge of the village on a mountain spur, which towers over the Muldenaue by a few meters. At the eastern end of the approximately 100 by 60 meters large area is the actual castle. The square in front of it is lined with outbuildings, surrounded by some trees and has a historic fountain in its center.

With a little luck, today's owner Heinrich von Taube, aka Lothar P. Goldhahn, will meet you today.
Exactly that first private restaurant owner of the GDR: In 1986 Lothar Goldhahn opened the legendary Gosenschenke in the Menckestr in the self-restored Gohliser Ten-Family-House. in Gohlis. Previously, he had rediscovered the top-fermented beer for Leipzig. Goldhahn's restaurant was an institution from the very beginning: there probably the first Gorbachev poster hung in the east; there was unofficially proclaimed the Free State of Saxony; Every week Vladimir Putin ordered his sour meat with fried potatoes and the vodka sto grams.
