Very special landscape. The limestone rocks have been attacked and dissolved by acidic water in their history, so that the subsoil is full of holes and has large caves. The huge Höllloch cave system is located near Muotatal. You should only hike here when the weather is nice. In fog you can get lost and it can be difficult to find your way. The rocks are sometimes very sharp.
