Unfortunately, the tower cannot be entered at the beginning of May 2020 because it was closed due to the corona crisis.

But also from the foot of the tower you have a nice view to the west. Neumünster can also be seen well.

There are two nice places to rest around. A shelter and a table with two benches.

The Ketelvierth lookout tower is a 16.4 meter high lookout tower in the municipality of Grossenaspe in Schleswig-Holstein.

The tower was built in 2003 as part of a village development program on the 73.2 meter high Ketelvierth mountain. In 2010, the tower, originally twelve meters high, was raised by a good four meters to once again offer a view over the treetops.

You can see far from the 16m tower in all directions, which has stood on the 73m high mountain Kethelvierth since 2003. In 2010 it was increased again by 4m because the tree tops blocked the view.

The tower can be climbed again (Stand 9.7.20). And it's also worth it. At the foot of the tower is a nice rest hut.
