Along the Lend Canal you have a good view of the adjoining Europa Park and Garden. From there it is only a few kilometers to the center of Klagenfurt.

The Europagarten is a small park right next to the reptile zoo/planetarium. There are a few park benches to sit on and plenty of trees to provide shade. You can also park directly there, you just have to be careful because there are parking lots where you can only park for 3 hours. Ideal for hiking or walking. Also nice for cyclists to take a break
