Hiking

If you're out and about in dry weather, you might think it's a contribution to the taxpayer's black book. In fact, the retention basin can hold a billion liters of water and allow it to drain off in a controlled manner. Especially when the snow melts or after heavy storms. An example from the recent past with pictures here: suedkurier.de/region/bodenseekreis/owingen/weshalb-in-den-aachtobel-up-to-einer-milliarde-liter-wasser-passen-musessen;art372489,10729124

Hiking

On the map here is a lake marked, - but it is just there only at high tide! On the stairs of the dam you can make good rest.
