Above the “Bois d’Amour” love forest, the Trémalo chapel is hidden behind oak and beech curtains. Its strange asymmetrical roof slopes almost to the ground on the north side. Gauguin made the multicolored crucifix of the nave with his yellow Christ famous worldwide.
