Road cycling
The Velodrome't Kuipke is located in the Citadelpark and near the museums S.M.A.K. and MSK. This cycling track has seen countless cyclists come and go. Eddy Merckx, Patrick Sercu and Sir Bradley Wiggins, who attended his first six-day race here at the age of 19, are just a few well-known names. Every year, the famous six-day race of Flanders-Ghent takes place here.
