actually I don't like such straight, straight paths ... but here you can see as much on the right and left .... as in the jungle .... really great

It's hard to believe how quickly nature has conquered the "new" Urdenbacher Kämpe! I lived in Urdenbach a few years ago, the comb was always beautiful, but what has happened here since the diversion of the Old Rhine / Mühlenbach is sensational. A small stand-edge Amazon!

We find the facing, charming communication of this nature conservation project exemplary. It is obviously also possible without flashy prohibition signs! Top!

I can only agree with my hiking friends. I am a hiking guide myself and claim that this floodplain area is one of the most beautiful in the Düsseldorf area. Then you can pass Haus Bürgel and go to the Rheinblick restaurant, Monheim Baumberg, In der Aue at the campsite. There you have a great view of the Rhine and you can eat very well.

The beautiful Urdenbacher Kämpe is a unique reserve between the river and the big city.
If you like to watch birds during courtship, breeding, etc., this is the place for you. Important: take a camera with a telephoto lens with you - it's worth it and you are not the only ones!
In some places there are boards to explain the meadow landscape.

Some paths are not paths in spring, but complete moor / swamp. The paths are sometimes rivers. So towards the end - in spring - do not follow the entire route.

Areas of the Urdenbacher Kämpe regularly flooded by the Rhine.
