I can only agree with my hiking friends. I am a hiking guide myself and claim that this floodplain area is one of the most beautiful in the Düsseldorf area. Then you can pass Haus Bürgel and go to the Rheinblick restaurant, Monheim Baumberg, In der Aue at the campsite. There you have a great view of the Rhine and you can eat very well.

If you like to watch birds during courtship, breeding, etc., this is the place for you. Important: take a camera with a telephoto lens with you - it's worth it and you are not the only ones!
In some places there are boards to explain the meadow landscape.

Some paths are not paths in spring, but complete moor / swamp. The paths are sometimes rivers. So towards the end - in spring - do not follow the entire route.
