The eight villages are: Ippesheim, Bullenheim, Wässerndorf, Iffigheim, Seinsheim, Hüttenheim, Markt Herrnsheim and Nenzenheim. To commemorate the former importance of the place, the eight-village oak was planted in 1954 with great sympathy from the population.
