Szwajcarka Mountain Hut

The oldest building in Poland used as a shelter - wooden, in Tyrolean style, built in 1823. Beautiful shelter at an altitude of 520m above sea level, and a great place to stop. They serve food here and you can stay overnight.

One of the few opportunities to strengthen yourself, you can relax under the large linden tree.

The hut was built in 1823 in the Tyrolean style and is made entirely of wood. It offers almost 30 overnight accommodations and you can get simple meals at the bar. It's pretty rustic: you order the food at the counter and are called over the loudspeaker later when it's ready. You then carry your rustic soup in a paper cup and a few slices of bread to your table on plastic trays - preferably you've got a seat on the bench in front of the hut under the mighty trees - and spoon it out with a flat wooden spatula. The beer is cool, the place is beautiful and the atmosphere is relaxed. So it doesn't matter that there are no sanitary facilities in the house, at least in July 2021 - instead you use the Dixies that are a few meters away in the parking lot. schronisko-szwajcarka.pl
