Cycling

The 250 ha NSG wetland Saerbeck exists since 1983. It applies u. a. as an important resting area for over 100 guest bird species. Birds that breed here include the lapwing, the snipe, the black-tailed godwit, the curlew, the black throats and the golden oriole. Due to the low-nutrient and humid areas, rare plant species such as mid-sundew, lungwort, swamp's eye and broadleaf orchid thrive in the NSG Saerbeck.
