Tips
The Sophienalpe (477 meters above sea level) is an alpine pasture in western Vienna and a popular destination. It is named after Archduchess Sophie, the mother of Emperor Franz Joseph, who often spent the summer here. The Sophienalpe can be reached via numerous hiking trails, the Sophienalpenstraße and the Exelberg.

To be found regularly on my trips. I usually come from the Dombachgraben and continue to the Hohe Wand Wiese trail park or to the Exelberg.
