Kemsing Down Nature Reserve is a wonderful place to explore. With ancient woodlands, glades, chalk grassland, and scrub areas; the reserve is home to some interesting flora and fauna. Keep a look-out for plant life including man orchid, pyramidal orchid, common spotted-orchid, squinancywort, common rock-rose, and burnet-saxifrage. Many butterflies can be seen, including brown argus, common blue, dingy and grizzled skipper.
