The cath. Church of the Assumption was rebuilt or consecrated in 1676. It is a fenced-in pilgrimage and parish church with a small cemetery and attached rectory. Nothing is known in writing about a previous building at this point, but it must have existed due to the settlement history of Heldmannsberg. Today the church belongs to the Catholic parish of Pommelsbrunn.
