Far away from mass tourism, just outside Monchique, towards Foia. OLD family business in a green valley with cork oaks and citrus trees. The landlord and host speaks many languages and you don't need the menu, the host explains what's available. The FOOD is authentic and has nothing to do with the typical offering on the Algarve coast. It's also affordable, in addition to the typical starters, we had lamb and wild boar from the oven, super tasty and lots of it. ALWAYS MY PLEASURE.
