Tips
For the best loop on Mount Olympos, begin (or end) your hike at Gortsia Trailhead, ending (or starting) at Prionia Trailhead, looping via two or all three of the summit huts and the highest peaks.
Hitching a ride between Litohoro and the trailhead is easy, as most drivers on this road are also hikers, going to or coming from the roads end at Prionia. Or follow the road a mile to join the trail dropping along the river back to Litohoro.August 24, 2019
