The ruins of the medieval cathedral. Construction probably began around 1152/53. It was completed in the early 14th century. It is 50 meters high and 56 meters long and was for a long time the most important place of pilgrimage between Oslo and Trondheim, but lost its importance from 1537 in the course of the Reformation.
