Here in the vicinity was a brickyard and a narrow-gauge railway line, which was used to get the sound out of the surrounding countryside, right up to the 1950s. A local resident reported that most of the bricks had been installed in Hamburg, especially during construction after WW2. Part of the route is located behind the bridge over the Seeve as a pedestrian and bicycle path.
