The Bergerhof is a large farm in the middle of the Elfringhauser Switzerland and hikers, bikers and motorcyclists meet here as well. There is everything for a rest - from coffee & cake to beer & chips. There are plenty of games for children and in the summer even a corn maze. The farm shop also offers many products directly from the farm. On weekends with nice weather it can be a little bit more crowded.

The Bergerhof was mentioned as the "house up the mountains" in 1482 for the first time in a document. 200 years later, in the register of the Office Blankenstein, the farm "Oberste Berg" was one of the richest. Since 1899, the Reuter family owns and manages the farm with an experience character. On the weekend in good weather unfortunately very strong visited, but offers as a starting point or refreshment for hikes very much.

Also at Bergerhof invite several marked circular hiking trails, which lead at the appropriate height through the beautiful landscape. Whether the 277 meter high Immelberg or the 273 meter high Juttermannsberg - you can even crack the 300-meter mark around the almost equally high altitude Bergerhof!

Starting point for wonderful walks through the Elfringhauser Switzerland with plenty of parking. There is a Hofcafe with food and drink and farm shops with fruit, vegetables, meat and sausages. In particular on summer weeks it is very crowded and a popular destination for the whole family.
