The Sacred Heart of Teià is located in the Serralada Litoral Park, specifically in Teià (El Maresme).[1]
Description
It is a Carrara marble statue made in 1956 by Claudi Rius. It was erected by the owner of the estate to end a quarrel with the rector of the Teià parish who called it a lack of faith. The figure, atop the rocky hill of El Moliner and with open arms, looks directly at the church of Teià and enjoys a good view of the stream of Teià and the sea.[1]
