In the wooden hut, a break at dizzy heights lures, the restaurant is at 805 meters, in close proximity to the highest mountain in NRW - the Langenberg.
The fresh delicacies from the "Hochheidehütte" taste particularly good in the idyllic heathland.
The hut team will spoil you with delicious dishes, grandma's country cakes and fresh waffles.
A good herbal liqueur and a Veltins on tap should not be missing, but be careful - otherwise you will miss the onward journey through the beautiful heathland. ;)

The Hochheide hut can be easily reached from Willingen or Winterberg. The Langenberg (highest mountain in North Rhine-Westphalia) and other mountains over 800 m altitude as well as a themed hiking trail are well signposted. In August the high heath flowers and is simply worth seeing ...

Great rest, nice service and cold drinks, the buttermilk is great, as is the cloudy shandy from the bottle.

At the Hochheidehütte there is the opportunity to stop and rest. This place has a fantastic view. From then on it goes over the wonderful nature of the high heather area, not only worth a visit when the heather is in bloom ...
